We are a network of interlocking circles located in the US and Europe that provides a container for people from various contemplative traditions who wish to integrate spirituality with social action. We are dedicated to the realization and actualization of the oneness and interdependence of life, using as our guide the Three Tenets of Not Knowing (thereby giving up our fixed perspectives), Bearing Witness to the joy and suffering of our world and Loving Action. We gather in members' homes, monthly or bi-monthly, coming together in contemplative practice and to study, to receive support from one another and to engage in actions arising from our deepening understanding of the oneness of life. We offer support to people who wish to begin circles wherever they might live, as well as advanced trainings for coordinators and ongoing circles. Trainings include processes for developing inclusivity, decision making and shared participation and ownership within the group. Our co-founders are Roshi Bernie Glassman and Roshi Sandra Jishu Holmes.
