 Zialua has disbanded as of December 2007.
We worked for several years to create an urban Ecovillage project in Albuquerque, NM with the following vision pieces:
~ Sustainability (permaculture, deliberate resource use, growing food and integration)
~ CoHousing principles for physical design
~ Consensus/Conflict Resolution
~ Multi-generational/Multi-ethnic
~ Support for personal growth/responsibility and spiritual exploration
~ Arts/Celebration
~ Being a model/having a teaching center
We are still available for networking, and several members have moved on to other projects, fulfilling our mission in other ways. There is also still a potluck that happens every Wednesday that can be a way to connect with other community-minded people.
