This is a forming Collective of Christ-Centric Earth Stewards that truly Love the Lord and have surrendered and died to this life: We are the new English Amish (you can learn more about that at the website)! We are Agrarian, Equestrian and plain people.
What's happening in our culture (our world) is the awareness of getting back to living sustainably, and yet, finding a way to do that and still pollute and over-consume. It's just not possible; it's not sustainable. God gave humans directives as to how to live on Earth (see Genesis) but humans eventually ignored those directives and Industrialized Earth anyway. We're beginning to pay for it, and the future is unclear (but certain). But food and shelter grows out of the ground; true security is in nature; in living closer to Gods creation, depending on it and Him!
A.E. will be off-grid, usury-free living! This will be a Fellowship, Not a followship; a Ministry, not just a business! I've built self-contained cabin homes for 10K; mortgaging a home is usury! Group living in one big box; not a good idea either! Small private cabins w/shared common areas (septic, water, power, horse barn, shop, greenhouse, School/meeting hall, etc). Sharing and stewardship is the goal here; to live much like the Amish but with some modernity! We need to live independent of the national economy, not trapped within it! We will not be consumers of the worlds goods, but sellers; of excess organic foods, homes, crafts and education.
I'm Anabaptist (hence the name), a Master Carpenter by trade, published Author, a simple-living Earth steward, sustainable designer/draftsman & consultant. Former General Contractor now focused on eco-building and village life. ISO others (singles, couples, families) to co-steward 20+ raw acres in the Jamesport, MO region.
Our Lord and the Apostles spent time in the wilderness, living off the land: fished, hunted, farmed, gardened, made tents, etc.: They lived simple and so will we! They shared resources and helped each other out, and so will we! This is not about self-beliefs or religious affiliations, it's about Love, honor, commitment, selflessness; a transformed life via the Indwelling Holy Spirit! First visit website for more info.
