Morelington Community is a Christian community in the Heart of North East Kansas. We are now in the forming stages with our goal to operate both as an intentional Christian community and as a worshiping church.
We will live together at a single address, holding goods and property in a common fund, looking to the model of Christian community depicted in the New Testament (Acts 2:44---47, 4:32---35). Living communally and pooling our resources in this way have enabled us to minister to one another and those outside the community in ways that might not have been otherwise possible. The outreach of the community is local, national, and international.
We pray the Lord to grant us the privileged to function as a resource to the church, a haven for people in need, a learning experience for many whose journey has taken them in our doors and out to serve elsewhere.
We currently are near the Capital city Topeka, and are with in easy driving distance to several colleges and community colleges.
We are looking for person who are willing to commit their lives to Jesus and a Christian community of brothers and sisters working and worshiping together. We look forward to working with those who acknowledge Christ as their savior, and that the work he started was left for us to continue.
We are serious about making a difference in our neighborhoods, our city, our state, our nation, and our world.
Our Purpose is to help people get to know Jesus on a personal level, to help foster true servant hood communities, as well as to encourage people to reach out to those in need.
We are a new community, born out of the call of Jesus to help lead people to true intimacy between God the father, Jesus the Son, the Holy Spirit and others.
