Yanan Worker's Commune
Montana,
United States
The Yanan Workers Commune is a project to create a rural egalitarian commune based on egalitarian, and socialist principles. We promote the ideas of a Universal World Spirit, as laid out by the great philosopher and inspirer of Dialectic philosophy, Georg Hegel. We are devoted to the philsophical ideas of Dialectical Materialism and the spiritual ideas of Georg Hegel. We believe that man must overcome both alienation from labor and alienation from spirit. Inspired by the ideas of Georg Hegel, Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, Che Guevara and Mao Zedong, as well as the historical experiences of the Paris Commune, Russian, Chinese, Cuban, and Vietnamese socialist systems.
Our economic ideas are shaped by a personal study by Kamran Heiss, of economic conditions and political ideas int he modern People's Republic of China. Kamran Heiss visited the cities of Beijing, Xian, Shanghai as well as important rural regions of China, during the winter of 2006. During his extensive travels in China, Heiss also visited important historic locations such as Hunan, Anyuan and Yanan. This synthesis of the egalitarian values practiced at Yanan in the 1930s during the Chinese Revolution, as well as an understanding of the modern economic system of Socialist China, are a major foundation of the Yanan Worker's Commune. The roads to socialism being developed by Venezuela, Bolivia, Vietnam, Laos, Cuba, also are incorporated into the Yanan project.
The Organizing Committe of the Yanan Commune, have surveyed potential locations throughout the rural United States, and has identified several possible locations in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming and Minnesota. All who share our vision of egalitarian communitarian and socialist values are welcome to participate in this venture. This adventure promises to create economic prosperity and equality, as well as spiritual knowledge. It will help participators reach their highest human potential.
