 Ecovillage 2012 re is located in quebec abitibi area on a 100 acres woodland parcel. That is 1 mile long !
There is no neigboors close and close to the land there is more public forest and mountain we can acess. The nature here is pristine and there is many stream near .
In the days we live in .. choosing to leave the cites and join a communitiee s the wise thing to do. Because there is chaos and the chaos show no signs of going down in this period of world wide
and accelerated changes.
For those who have concerns about the ecovillage location safety grade : the ecovillage is located at 300 meters above see level very far of very big aglomeration. There is plenty of wood here to keep us warm in the cold time and for building purposes.
But basicaly we are looking for a wide range of poeple who are on a path of evolution or who wish to be on an path of evolution toward greater self knowledge , self mastery and or god whit communion or who hold close value of peace and love.
So the value we try to develop collectively is love - truth - joy - simplicity - cooperation .. etc..
When the ecovillage will truly start and be fully operational , all decision should be done by the group without no leaders. Decisions should be democratic and by consensus as much as possible.
also we should be a fully self sufficient communautie off the grid as much as possible..
Food should be provided to everyone in the ecovillage. And work should be on a volonteer basis. Meaning that poeple do what they do because they want it and like it to do.. But it can be also mandatory if everybody decide so. But in any case..Things must remain simple and cheap so we all need to work less to fuffill our basic needs.
Spiritual practice is up to each one.
But volonteers can teach others their knowledge and make group activities such as meditation , yoga etc..
If everything goes allright and we even generate a revenu as an ecovillage, we will decide collectively what to do with the money.
If the ecovillage become full, we should consider expansion. To be able to help as much poeple as possible.

quebec ecovillage: the place you go to discuss about the ecovillage 2012 project. the place you go meet other poeple interested in the project. You have to subscribe and to actively participate. Wich mean , you should take the lead and organise meeting in your area. When we are 10 to 20 then we all go to the lawyer , give the cash and then the ecovillage will truly start and will be owned and controled 100 by its members in a democratic style.
