L'Arche Mobile is a Christian community that provides family-like homes for people with a mental handicap and assistants who chose to live in our community homes. Our life consists of creating authentic relationships with each as well as trying to meet the needs of each person who lives in our homes.

The fundamental aspects of L'Arche are as follows: (1) Recognition of the unique value of a person with a developmental disability to reveal that human suffering and joy can lead to growth, healing, and unity. (2) Life sharing, where persons with a developmental disability and those who assist them live, work, and pray together. (3) Relationships of mutuality in which people give and receive love. (4) Based on the Gospel and dependent on the spirit of God where faithful relationships, forgiveness, and celebration reveal God's personal presence and love.

Our mission is: (1) to create homes where faithful relationships based on forgiveness and celebration are nurtured; (2) to reveal the unique value and vocation of each person; 3. to change society by choosing to live relationships in community as a sign of hope and love.
